The selected artists will be announced in the July newsletter together with the programme of B.talking events which will start in October this year. At each event the B.resident and B.mentored artists will exhibit and give a presentation about their work. At these events you will have the opportunity to B.audience alongside the artists.
B.audience is a new development for Beacon, which acknowledges that the artist is also a member of the audience alongside the ‘person on the street’. B.audience will reach out to both Beacon's established and new audiences to create a non-hierarchical space enabling all participants to engage with and experience exciting and challenging contemporary art.
We are currently seeking to appoint two new trustees for our Board which meets quarterly to augment the expertise of our current board members. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have experience and knowledge of either finance or marketing.
Board members will need to have a passion and interest in developing the cultural landscape of the East Midlands and in particular Lincolnshire.
